I'm seeing DOUBLE!

Hi friends and family! Most have you have already heard the shocking results from my ultrasound. I'm sorry this post was so long in coming, but I have literately only now started to come back down to earth. I have been in shock for the last couple days and NOTHING has gotten accomplished in my poor household! (Thank goodness for good husbands!) So the biggest news..... There were TWO babies inside me all along! My OB isn't sure how he missed it, but after going back and looking at my first ultrasound at 8 weeks we've decided that one baby was hiding BEHIND the other making it hard to see by a vaginal ultrasound. ::sigh:: lol. So the second biggest news is that the ultrasound tech was 99% sure both babies were girls! We are still not sure whether they are identical or not. It appears as though there is just one placenta, but it is possible that it is two that are fused together. We may not know more until the girls are born. As you can imagine this came as a HUGE surprise and my head has been reeling ever since. I am sooo excited to see my little girls for the first time, but anticipate a long road ahead! I need your prayers more then ever now, as this news brings all new fears and uncertainty to this pregnancy. I will do my best to keep you all updated. I should be getting a few more ultrasounds then I normally would now though, and plan to go back and double check the gender. I can't handle anymore surprises!!! lol . Here are the pics you've been waiting for. The baby's are labeled Baby A (She's the bottom part of my belly) and Baby B (She's up above in my belly). :) I hope you love them. I know I do!

That last shot was our only 3D image we got that day. Hopefully more will be soon to follow! Now for fun, here's the ultrasound image from our 8 week ultrasound.....Looks like only one baby to me! lol. Boy were we wrong!

We're thinking the other sack HAD to be behind it right? So crazy! Anyways....Here is a recent pic of me at the pumpkin patch! 19 weeks pregnant with Twins!!! (didn't know it at the time!)Almost 1/2 way through! Yay!

Ultrasound Scheduled!!

Okay, so I know it's been a while since I posted last. I apologize but our Internet was down for a while, and I've had a hard time swinging back into the daily Internet routine I was in before. Weird I know. :) We have exciting news! Our big 20 week ultrasound was scheduled today for THIS Monday! WooHOO! Yup, that's Oct 20th. :) I am sooo excited! Time to find out if we're Team Blue or Team Pink! I had my monthly appt today as well. Baby's heartbeat was right at 160bpm, and my belly measurements were right at 19cm. So all looks/sounds good. I am right about where I should be (Well maybe a few pounds heavier....::wink::wink::)

It also looks like baby Brandon (my sister's baby-on-the-way) might make his appearance early, still a bit to soon to tell. But she's gone a few weeks early with both her other boys and she's already dilated to 3 and 65% effaced. She usually doesn't hang around there long, but this being her 3rd delivery things may be different. We just have to wait and see, she could stay like this for while. She is almost 36 weeks along so isn't exactly ready for Brandon yet, still a bit too early. At this point we are hoping he makes it to 2 weeks early. If all of my friends and family could keep her in your prayers we would really appreciate it. Although if he makes it to full term he would definitely be a 10 pounder so...... a few weeks early may be easier on her! :)

Just for fun here is a pic we snapped at the beginning of Oct. I would like to point out though....I only look bigger then her because of the angle.... I was totally turned to the side more then she was..... seriously....and she was sort of angled. lol. Seriously. I need to take a new prego pic of myself because in the last three days my belly just sort of blew up! It's actually kind of cute now. :) If only my butt and thighs weren't growing along with it! lol! Can't wait to share the good news with everyone on Monday. Keep our little bean in your prayers, and pray we see a healthy happy little baby!!
